Hi! My name is Colleen, I am originally from upstate New York but call
Raleigh home as I have spent most of my life here. I am a total animal
lover and have been ever since I was a kid. I have a pitbull-mix named
Africa who manages to put a smile on my face everyday! She is in the
photo with me. I love going on long walks with her and playing tug of
war or fetch with her endless collection of toys. She is great company!

I have my bachelors degree in Psychology and plan to go back to school
in the near future. In my free time, I love being around my family,
making jewelry Tr eeRoundDesigns, and doing yoga.

My goal is to give your pets the best possible care and tons of love,

My name is Monica, I love being outside, and try to live a happy, healthy lifestyle. I have had pets pretty much all of my life. I had two small poodles at different times during my childhood, two parakeets, and my mom got our first cat in 2003. In the late part of 2007, I adopted a cute little stray black cat, her name is Lola, and she is an adorable, sweet, and VERY talkative cat. A few weeks later at a visit to the vet, we found out she was pregnant, and while I found homes for her other kittens, we kept one. He is a male gray and black tabby named Linus. Lola is sweet, docile, and a little skittish around people at first. Since I got her fixed, she has gotten over some of her skittish behavior and craves attention! Linus is also very sweet, and very mischievous! He loves bags, boxes, and being in or under things. I love animals very much, and consider these two little tykes to be my “children.”

I am currently taking online classes with the University of Maryland University College where I am majoring in Computer Science and a minor in Forensic Science. I transferred there from classes at Wake Tech Community College where my focus was in Criminal Justice. I’m very excited to join Cindy and her team of sitters, one of whom, Adrienne is a friend of mine. I’m very excited to join Cindy and her team of sitters.

Jill is originally from Long Island, New York. She became a Wake County girl when she decided to move to North Carolina about eight years ago. She now makes her home in North Raleigh and looks forward to providing excellent pet-sitting

My name is Jess, I am originally from Richmond Virginia, but I’ve been living in North Carolina for the last 16 years. I spent time in both the eastern and western parts of the state, before moving to the Triangle in 2003. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill. I later went to grooming school, became a pet stylist, and managed the Brier Creek Petco grooming salon for 5 years. Now I’m working on my Master’s degree in Environmental Policy from American Public University and am spending some quality time at home with my 2 babies, a silky terrier named Oso and a cat who is affectionately known as Archie.

I’ve had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. When I was kid, my parents would rescue any hurt animals that they found. I got to help nurse birds, squirrels, and chipmunks back to health throughout my childhood. I’ve volunteered at numerous shelters and sanctuaries for many years, including the country’s largest sanctuary, Best Friends in Kanab, Utah.

I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, snakes, lizards, birds, and fish. I look forward to making many more furry friends working for Cindy as a pet sitter!!

My name is Stephanie and I have lived in Raleigh for 14 years. I am originally from Fayetteville, NC, and have lived in Greenville, NC as well. I am a single Mom of one son, Noah, who is a senior at Needham Broughton High School this year!
I have two other babies as well; Mister and Nem, they are brothers adopted from Wendell, NC. Mister is also known as "White Whisker Of Wisdom", as he has one singular white whisker that appeared when he was a kitten after a thunder storm. This is true! How that happened I'm not quite sure, but it did. He is a little frightened of thunder. Nem on the other hand, is not afraid of anything. He is a character, and definitely has 'the cute'! He likes to jump up to meet your hand for pets, which is just about the cutest thing ever!

I grew up in a household with many pets, my Mom is a true dog-lover and she passed this wonderful trait onto me. When I was younger we had bigger dogs, and as my Mom has aged her dogs have become smaller. So, I have experience with all sizes and shapes. Growing up, I also volunteered with her at the SPCA, which was a great experience! Thank you, Mom! I have always had dogs, but where I live now, I'm unable to have them. :( One day again, though. I also have experience with reptiles; snakes and iguanas, as my ex-husband owned these. So, if you have reptilian pets who need care, I am able to care for them too!

I am also a Licensed Esthetician (skin-care therapist). At this time, I freelance in that field, but have worked in the spa industry in the past. I have a passion for caring for others, all others; human and animal. I look forward to meeting your babies and you! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your, and your pet's, lives. :)

My name is Ariel, I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, where I was pretty
much raised by animals! My family had horses, cockatiels, guinea pigs,
and, of course, several dogs and cats. During high school, I worked in
Lexington as a veterinary assistant for a small and exotic veterinary
clinic, so I have experience in care for anything you can imagine --
from reptiles and rodents to parrots and pigs. I moved to Raleigh in
2008 to attend NC State. I graduated in May and I am very excited to
begin working with pets again.

Ariel
I enjoy getting out and about, just about anything active -- walking,
running, hiking, basketball. I will gladly give your pets lots of
exercise! I recently adopted a German Shepherd mix, named Pinto from
Wake County Animal Center. We love to go on long walks downtown and
people constantly stop us to remark on her "sonar" ears! It always
makes both our days. She is picured in my photo.

I also enjoy cooking new recipes, thrifting, sewing and daydreaming of
the farm I hope to live on one day. I am looking forward to meeting
you and your pets, and being their parent when you have to work or
leave town!

My name is Kathy, I am originally from Tuxedo, NY (a small town located about 40 miles north of New York City). I moved to Hillsborough, NC almost 8 years ago and then recently relocated to Raleigh in June 2012.

I love animals. I have had them all of my life including dogs, guinea pigs and bunnies. We (my husband and I) got a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Toby from a breeder in Durham. We met him when he was just 20 days old! We visited him every week so he would get to know us. At 8 weeks we brought him home. He is now 6 ½ months old and a sweetheart. We love him very much.

I hold a BA in English and an MS in Education. In my free time I like to go hiking, read, and cook. I look forward to providing your pets the best care I possibly can!

place in my heart for rodents.
